Contract: Long-term to Permanent

Are you a passionate and motivated Psychology Graduate with a genuine desire to support children with special educational needs in a secondary school setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the support staff team at a fantastic primary school in the Westminster area.

This role begins in September, with a commitment throughout the academic year, and the potential for the right candidate to transition into a permanent position with the secondary school supporting children with SEN.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalised SEN support to children with special educational needs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to create tailored learning plans.
Implement interventions to address behavioural challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
Conduct assessments to monitor progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
Deliver one-on-one and small group sessions to develop essential skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field.
Prior experience in special education or a similar setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
