Body Shop Controller Overall pay initially around £40,000, which will be a good basic pay of around £35,000 plus productivity bonus taking the overall pay to around £40,000.There is also a pension. Main Duties Hands on with vehicles in the bodyshop. Manage the day to day work in the vehicle bodyshop. Dealing with car parts and consumables ordering with suppliers. Supervising mechanics and an administrator. Looking after customers, usually on the technical issues. Working with the vehicle bodyshop owner to improve efficiency and profitability and getting the business ready to hire more vehicle mechanics. This Vehicle Bodyshop Controller job will suit: Your background could be from any of these backgrounds; vehicle technician, MET, mechanical, electrical and vehicle trim, panel beater, vehicle mechanic, light vehicle technician, etc, we are very flexible. Supervising a team of about 5 people day to day, and developing the way the team works together.
