Incredible opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to join a unique, award-winning charity and tourist attraction based in North Yorkshire. You’ll be leading a small but mighty marketing and customer service team, working across marketing, PR and commercial, joining at an exciting time as they roll out a new brand identity and look ahead to a packed programme of special events. If you’ve got an interest in travel, tourism and visitor attractions and want a role where you can make a real difference then this could be the perfect fit. You’ll be joining a dedicated team with foundations in the past but a focus on the future. As Head of Marketing you will: Develop and implement annual and long-term marketing strategies Manage the roll-out and consistency of the new brand across all channels Supervise marketing and customer service teams, providing mentorship and support Collaborate with various teams to execute commercial, educational, and fundraising activities Establish effective communication processes within the department and across the organization. Ensure operational and data protection compliance for marketing systems Manage marketing budgets and achieve targets for visitor numbers and revenue Lead targeted marketing campaigns, oversee digital strategy, and manage agency contractsYou can expect the following benefits: Starting salary up to £45,000 dependant on experience. 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service 75% reduced rate travel on the national rail network Access to an Employee Assistance Programme for you and your immediate family Free car parking Employee discountsThis Head of Marketing role a full-time role working Monday – Friday, 36.5 hours per week with some weekend cover depending on events and activities. The role is based in North Yorkshire, with locations commutable from Scarborough, Pickering, Malton, York, Whitby and surrounding areas
