Our consultancy is rapidly expanding and we are looking to recruit a graduate to join our successful team and work alongside our senior consultants in delivering first-class procurement solutions. The role will give the ideal candidate the opportunity to learn not only about procurement & supply chain across a number of different categories, but also provide you with the skills and tools to be a successful consultant with full support on your journey to MCIPS qualification.

In your role as a consultant, you will be involved in the end-to-end client journey from specification and proposal development, through delivery, recommendation and implementation. Data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in clients' procurement processes
Advising on procurement best practices, including risk management, supplier relationship management, and negotiations
Project management
Supporting clients through procurement implementation, including supplier selection and contract negotiations
End to end contract process
Delivery of training and associated workshops

We are looking for a commercially minded graduate with an understanding of procurement and supply chain gained either through degree studies or work experience. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or another procurement related field
Have a sound understanding of key procurement concepts including Category Management, ERP, the Procurement Life Cycle, Legal Concepts, Market Analysis and Data Management
Have a commercial mindset with the ability to ‘think big’ as well as focus on the detail
Numerate with the ability to assess and manipulate data
Creative approach to problem solving
Access to a wide range of clients and industries to enhance and develop your skills both in procurement & supply chain as well as a range of consulting skills

~ Flexible working through a hybrid approach – with time each month spent in our Head Office in Chorley or on client sites as required
