Engineering Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding organisation with a focus on smart buildings achieved by utilising innovative technologies and solutions. As a group, they can provide end-to-end solutions for how a building is controlled to reduce energy consumption while retaining comfort levels for occupants. We're on the hunt for a seasoned Engineering Manager to steer our engineering, project management, and technical support teams. This role is crucial for upholding our dedication to innovation, quality, and our core values, ensuring accountability at every level.
Spearhead the engineering department, project management, and technical support teams. Financial Management:
Oversee and be accountable for the budgets, financial forecasts, and overall financial health of the engineering and technical support sectors. Effective supplier management for the provision of systems installation and maintenance. Ensure resources are utilised efficiently to meet project and departmental goals and delivery of exceptional customer solutions.
Project Management Supervision:

Guarantee the Engineering and Technical Support Departments deliver effective support promptly to both internal and external stakeholders, improving customer satisfaction and product reliability. Promotion of Engineering Excellence:
Prior knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated technologies is highly beneficial.
Collaborate with departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure engineering projects support broader business aims, fostering a sense of working together to achieve the same goal.
Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and accountability for personal and professional growth. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure engineering practices comply with industry and legal standards, maintaining the company's commitment to quality. Specifically ensure compliance with our ISO policies and processes. Ensure the highest standards of adherence to good practice for Health and Safety, this includes training and equipment provision, policy application and development.

leadership experience in engineering management, with a proven track record in project delivery and team accountability.
