As a Security Architect Lead, your main responsibilities will be :
- As part of the engineering and architecture family of GDaD roles you will contribute to building and, where appropriate, leading work in collaboration across the organisation to deliver a brand new vetting platform. This is a green field opportunity to work with architecture, product, data and operational colleagues to deliver a modern, secure and digital first service that underpins national security risk assessment in circa 130 organisations.
- A lead security architect undertakes complex work of a high risk level, often working on several projects.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Have experience working in public sector, defence or ‘regulated’ organisations.
- Have SOC awareness and establishing SOC comms processes.
- Demonstrable experience in SIEM Procedure creation.
- Demonstrable experience of Secure by Design.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud and associated tooling.
- Have strong internal audit skills and experience.
- Have strong experience of security tooling
- Interact with senior stakeholders across departments
- Research and apply innovative security architecture solutions to new or existing problems and be able to justify and communicate design decisions.
- Develop vision, principles and strategy for security architects for one project or technology
- Identify subtle security needs and provide effective solutions
- Understand the impact of decisions, balancing requirements and deciding between approaches.
- Produce particular patterns and support quality assurance.
- Lead the technical design of systems and services.
- Ability to influence policy process and business architecture whilst considering legal and political implications.
