This is a full-time role working 37.Part-time hours may also be considered for the right individual (minimum 24 hours per week).

It's an incredibly exciting time to be joining this hospital as they’re currently in the process of expanding the hospital and will be soon opening a brand-new, purpose-designed Elective Orthopaedic Centre comprising of a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite, imaging services, an additional 2 theatres for orthopaedic cases (taking the hospital from 4 to 6 theatres in total), 7-day case rooms and additional inpatient beds. As a key member of the theatre team, you will be responsible for supporting the theatre management team with getting their new Orthopaedic Centre up and running.

Due to the hospital expansion we’re keen to hear from individuals with experience working across Scrub, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery As an integral part of the team, you will play an essential role in the day-to-day running of the department, making decisions relating to patient care and assisting senior practitioners, consultants, and surgeons.
You will provide an effective and efficient service whilst ensuring optimum patient care.
To apply for this role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience as a Theatre Nurse or Practitioner. Experience working within Scrub, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery will be considered. Prior experience working within Orthopaedics is essential.
