Head of Technical – Food Manufacturing
£85-90k plus package – relocation package available
Senior technical role in a beautiful part of the world. Ideal if you are looking for an opportunity in a larger business with strong support network at senior and peer level across the technical function as well as a solid site team to work alongside. Long-standing business known for their brand and reputation in own label with growth in both customers and across the wider business. This is a senior level role on the Site Leadership Team with regular contact across their retail customer base. With a large technical team across Factory Technical and Technical Services, this role is fundamental to the success of the site. Managing Quality, Technical Systems and Hygiene teams across the site and developing their skill sets.
Ensure strong technical understanding across the senior management team.
Leading projects to drive business initiatives forward from a Technical and Process perspective.
Continuous Improvement project involvement.
Being present and visible in the manufacturing facility to ensure that a team ethos is created.
Joining a management team at an important time in terms of development and progress for the site allows for a real development/career enhancing opportunity. Significant food manufacturing experience as a Site Technical Manager.
Demonstrable motivational management.
A strong network across the major retailers leading previous technical projects.
