The Role:
- Ordering and controlling food stocks within budget; utilizing Marketman and Lightspeed software.
- Supporting the kitchen by sourcing products and costing dishes; working closely with suppliers to find the best possible price and products for the restaurant.
- Working alongside and supporting accounts in managing payments & credits with suppliers.
- Supporting the head chef in supervising the kitchen team, adhering to H&S regulations.
- Work alongside Food Alert; our H&S consultants; rolling out all procedures and manuals, ensuring training and checks are in place, following preventative maintenance measures.
- Ordering kitchen materials based on demand, coupled with budget parameters and costs.
- Identifying maintenance needs, liaising with contractors in finding the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Supporting the kitchen with recruitment; helping to post ads and select potential candidates for interview.
