This unique Hotel is a spectacular 18th Century 49-bedroom hotel situated in the heart of the historic market town of Buckingham. Villiers has undergone a major refurbishment to all front of house areas and The Old Town Hall which provides all the meeting, serviced offices and function space.
We are looking for a dynamic Junior Chef to join the Team. As a Junior Chef, you will join a team of talented chefs preparing food for guests for our rosette restaurant, afternoon tea lounge, conference lunches, weddings and special events. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Chef to be part of this growing brand of unique properties.
Prepare food in a timely manner.
Keeps work and kitchen areas clean.
Manage financial risks.
Be a leader and mentor to junior team members.
Assists the Sous Chefs and Exec Chef in ensuring that all culinary standards comply with company and Hotel Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitor and reduce food waste.
Ensures all health and safety/food safety regulations are adhered to.
Stays focused and is conscious about food presentation and consistency.
Practices proper food handling procedures.
Performs all duties in adherence to all company standards and policy
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.
