132kV Senior Authorised Person – IDNO – 6 month rolling contract – Outside IR35

I am looking for a HV Senior Authorised Person to work for an IDNO where they will be responsible for maintenance, repair , instillation and commissioning. Most of the work will be up to 33kV with some 132kV work.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Senior Authorised Person duties
  • Issuing safety documents to the right personnel
  • Organisation of work on behalf of the client
  • Switching on the private networks up to 132kV
  • Carry out maintenance activities / fault finding on the HV networks
  • Instillation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Liaising with the client and providing progress updates
  • Supervision of the sub contractors on site
  • Supervision and mentoring of Authorised Persons and Competent Persons

Requirements

  • Experience working on 33kV networks or ideally 132kV
  • Preferably authorisations under a DNO or National Grid (desired but not essential)
  • 3 + years experience as an SAP
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
  • Available to be on call on a rotational basis.

Logistics

  • Monday – Friday
  • Weekend work when required
  • 6 month rolling contract
  • Outside IR35
