Backend Developer Location: London – Hybrid
Employment: Full Time

As a back-end developer, you will support the digitisation of the UK’s defence, intelligence, and military agencies, collaborating with high-performing multidiscipline teams to deliver E2E features and cloud-native applications.

Additionally, you’ll build robust and scalable digital platforms that enable teams to continuously develop modern micro-services-based solutions to improve environments through automation and infrastructure-as-code.

British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.
Previous Defence, Military, Policing, National Security, Counter Terrorism, or Justice Project involvement.
Proficiency in software development and a passion for writing code.
Understanding of the fundamentals of Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, and/or Python software development.
Demonstrable understanding of working in teams, particularly in agile methodologies such as Scrum & Kanban.
Delivering cloud-native and containerised applications using technologies including AWS Lambda, Spring Boot, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ELK.
Building solutions as part of a DevOps and Agile ecosystem supported by tooling including Atlassian, Jenkins, OWASP, and AWS componentry.
