Senior Account Executive – Medical Education Agency
Established for over 20 years this independent medical education agency has a small team of around 40 staff – therefore as Senior Account Executive you will benefit from greater variety, greater influence, and ultimately the chance for quicker career development than you may find in a larger agency. And it’s not all work and no play – this team take their socials as seriously as their medical education programmes with a social committee on hand to organise activities to suit everyone.
Senior Account Executive Responsibilities :
As Senior Account Executive you attend client meetings, track costs against budget, and write client status reports. You will also support medical writers with content production by liaising with the in-house creative & technology teams. Compliance is essential and therefore you will also manage content through client approval systems such as Veeva . Because live scientific events are an important aspect of this agency’s work you will make sure that the events run smoothly – from liaising with scientific experts through to providing on-site assistance. New business is of course essential to the profitable running of the agency as well as to your career development and therefore you will help research and write new business pitches.
Not many Medical Education agencies have such a diverse client roster as this agency. As well as Pharmaceutical Companies you’ll support Public Health departments, Medical Societies, Patient Advocacy organisations, and Medical Device manufacturers. This varied client roster gives you exposure to working on an interesting mix of creative medical education programs.
Data Science & Creativity inform the Life Science story :
A unique aspect of this agency is its team of in-house data & behavioural scientists. These insights are applied by your Account Directors to inform and drive the Scientific Engagement strategy. As your role develops you will also use these insights to contribute ideas to the Scientific Engagement strategy.

Senior Account Executive – Candidate Criteria
Experience of working within a client services team at a medical communications agency and/or experience of working within pharmaceutical marketing is required.
