Heels & Brogues Recruitment, in partnership with a leading client, is expanding its Commercial Catering Engineer team in the North East and is actively seeking an experienced Catering/ Refrigeration Gas Engineer for the Newcastle (NE1) location.

Job Title: Commercial Catering Engineer

Location: Newcastle (NE1)

Salary: From £36,000

Benefits for Catering Engineer:

Salary up to £40,000

Overtime up to double pay

Company van

Travel time

Early finish on Fridays

22 days, plus bank holidays

Other benefits:

On-site parking

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (38 hours)

Overtime

Weekend availability

Experience:

Gas: 3 years (preferred)

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Catering Engineer, conduct specialised inspections and scheduled maintenance on catering gas systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Install, repair, and maintain catering/ refrigeration gas-related equipment and systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and standards specific to catering gas installations, maintaining accurate documentation of activities.

Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates on maintenance activities and addressing inquiries or concerns regarding catering gas system performance.

Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as gas leaks or system failures in catering environments, implementing emergency response plans to mitigate risks and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

Recognised Gas qualified certificates.

Knowledge and expertise in Catering Gas Installations.

Proven experience working on various catering sites.
