We are working with a leading construction company who are seeking a Senior Lawyer to lead their In-House Legal Team.
Our client builds and supplies prefabricated Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing systems throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe and are continuing to expand their offering and client-base. Due to exponential growth, they require an experienced Commercial Solicitor or Barrister to lead their legal team, assist the wider management team and to be an integral part of the Company's plans for expansion.

Be the first point of contact for all legal and contractual issues and queries within the Company;
Evaluate the commercial impact of contractual matters and advise the wider Management Team accordingly;
Be able to assess legal risks before they arise and provide advice to mitigate;
Provide training and mentorship to the Company's in-house solicitor;
Direct and advise the Commercial + Operations departments on any contractual matters.
Drafting and negotiating the Company's contracts with their suppliers, sub-contractors etc and help drive the team to continuous improvement;
Manage the company’s insurance policies and Trade Credit Cover;
Work closely with the Company's senior management to provide ongoing advice in respect to any industry related legal issues that could impact the company/business;
Provide employment and regulatory advice to the Company.

Qualified solicitor or barrister with Commercial experience - 4PQE+;
A people's person who enjoys training and interacting with a varied range of clients and colleagues;
Proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
