Intervention Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated Intervention Teacher with a specialism in Phonics and English, looking for flexible daily supply work in Leicestershire and surrounding areas? Do you have a passion for building relationships quickly and working in small groups? Are you looking to help pupils achieve their full potential? We are seeking Intervention Teachers who can focuses on helping children who are working below age-expected levels to improve their Phonics, English and Reading. You will be responsible for identifying students who need additional support, designing and implementing intervention programs, and working closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure that all students have the opportunity to succeed. Aspire People will provide you with day-to-day supply teaching as well as give you the opportunity for long-term roles. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose when and where you work. Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status
- Experienced in supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 who are working below age-expected levels
- Previous experience of assessing student levels and collaborating with class teachers
- Identifying learning gaps and integrating this information into lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or wiling to apply for one)
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Monday to Friday - Flexible days and hours to suit your availability
- Long-term contract with the option of extending or "as and when"
- Developing social and cognitive development
