NSB Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Author to work for a prototype development company in waste to energy solutions.
Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled individual who possesses a unique blend of technical writing proficiency, engineering expertise, and a can-do attitude.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including instruction manuals, user guides, and product specifications (commissioning documents, Instruction manual, SOP’s, Maintenance schedules, Spares list & Training package & ongoing requirements for planned upgrades).
* Utilize MS Office tools effectively, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Possess a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including controls, to accurately document product functionalities.
* Produce illustrations using SolidWorks and other design software to enhance technical documentation.
* Interpret P&ID style drawings and electrical schematics with precision.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering &/or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a related field
* Proven experience in technical writing roles.
* Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for illustrations.
