Managing and executing site inspections Advising on and setting operational team safety objectives Supporting and undertaking investigations into accidents and incidents Mentoring junior health and safety professionals Contributing to new tenders and bids Assessing external environments for safe working Identifying any gaps in the H&S management system; recommending improvements Developing and implementing new initiatives or sharing best practices with colleagues Advising on and communicating new working practices in line with any new legislative requirements or best practice Carrying out ABC tours (Attitude, Behaviour and Culture) Actively encouraging Safety Observations and Hazard Reporting We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate … Significant experience in an advisory role, underpinned by a thorough understanding of current HSE legislation is essential, along with exceptional communications skills. Enjoyment of operating in a fast-paced and transient environment, which is not restricted to a single or enclosed site. We’ll also be looking for you to demonstrate an innovative approach to problem solving and originality when landing messages with your operational colleagues. A NEBOSH Construction Certification or equivalent i.e., HNC in Construction as a minimum and a Tech IOSH Membership and working towards Grad or equivalent.
