SmartPro are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing operations of this award winning client in the Swansea area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, supply chain management, and quality control practices.
Duties of the Production Manager:
* Manage daily production activities to ensure targets are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.
* Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
* Report on weekly and monthly KPI metrics to Senior Management.
* Monitor production objectives and compile action plans to achieve targets
* Utilise SAP systems for tracking production metrics and reporting on performance outcomes.
Extensive experience in a production management role within in a fast paced and complex environment
