Who we are looking for

A Senior Copywriter, who will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the Company's use of language as a key method of communication.

You will be a crucial part of the Design and UX team, reporting to the Chief Design and UX Officer. You will be working with designers, marketers and the wider Business to oversee the quality and consistency of the copy produced by the global company, and be a guardian of our global brands tone of voice.

As a Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating engaging and persuasive copy for various platforms including websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and TV adverts. You will become an essential part of developing and consolidating our external and internal brand voice and style.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience in this area.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Portfolio of published work that demonstrates your writing skills and creativity.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for different audiences and purposes with a flair for words and a passion for storytelling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent research, editing, and proofreading skills, with a good understanding of content marketing strategies.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passionate about language, its consistent application and its importance as a key method of communication.
  • Knowledge of other languages.

Main Responsibilities

  • Writing and guiding the copy original and compelling copy for various marketing channels, such as websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and TV adverts.
  • Writing documentation that is both detailed and easily accessible.
  • Developing guidelines for language use and ensuring that content is consistent with our brand voice, tone, and style.
  • Collaborating with designers, marketing and other stakeholders to create engaging and user-friendly content.
  • Monitoring and analysing content performance and metrics and providing feedback and recommendations.
  • Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in copywriting and content marketing.
  • Developing and documenting standards of communication for external and internal brands across the Business.
  • Championing consistent copy, in-line with brand objectives.
