Unique opportunity to join an established practice in Gloucestershire, who are looking to expand their Residential team with an Architectural Technician. With a strong foothold in the industry, they pride themselves on being creative, innovative and collaborative, enabling them to provide high-quality architectural solutions to their clients.
As an Architectural Technician, you'll play a key role within their dynamic Residential team. Working with other members of the team, you'll be instrumental in executing various aspects of architectural projects. From collaborating with team members to independently managing designated tasks, your expertise will contribute to the seamless delivery of projects varying in both scope and complexity. Role will include;
• To programme and lead the production of working / construction drawing package
• To work as part of a team in addition to working independently
• To work collaboratively and liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants
• To undertake design coordination, clash detection and carry out checks of 3rd party specialist design
• Flexibly meet the requirements and deadlines of multiple projects simultaneously
• Positively uphold standards and best practices
• Implement and ensure compliance with latest building legislation and health and safety regulations
• Actively identify, understand and implement any regulatory changes
• Contract documentation preparation, including assessment and correction of drawings
• Deliver projects within agreed program and budget
• Implement office procedures and project risk management
• Fulfil duties of a Designer under CDM regulations.
About You

• Effective time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Co-operation and commitment to be supportive in the team and actively participate.
• To have worked in the construction industry for at least 5 years.
• Good knowledge of and willingness to learn to apply Building Regulations NHBC and British Standards to everyday working.
• Full driving licence.
• Knowledge of care and retirement living sector an advantage.
