Enterprise Architect, with strong domain driven design skills, required by a leading ecommerce company, to set direction and approach on how they design, build, and evolves a scalable and maintainable portfolio of solutions.

This is a highly visible role where the Enterprise Architect will promote consistent architectural best practices ensuring that the teams meet and adapt to the challenges and objectives our client is meet with. The Enterprise Architect will have a solid understanding of the principles, practices and techniques of Enterprise Architecture and Domain driven design.

The post holder will design and contribute towards the wider enterprise architecture initiatives, provide guidance, and highlight changes required through the development lifecycle, and will be required to stay relevant in technology and be responsible for the direction give at all stages. The right candidate will be a strong communicator who will be able to understand the details behind solutions and effectively communicate to stakeholders and third parties.

The Enterprise Architect will have an ecommerce, retail or travel sector background and will have a proven experience with a broad base of architectural patterns and technologies, with the ability to select and design around the most effective combinations to meet business needs.

Key requirements:

  • Strong Enterprise Architect experience
  • Excellent experience within travel, ecommerce or retail sectors
  • Strong domain driven design (DDD) skills and experience
  • Familiarity with high-availability and resilience engineering patterns, secure design principles and threat modelling.
  • Expertise with software used to create clear strategic/architectural documentation and assets.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

Location: Fully Remote

Pay: up to £120k
