Life Environmental Services is not just renowned for its expertise in asbestos and environmental risk management but also for its familial approach to business. Operating across the UK, we have nurtured a strong community presence through our steady flow of commercial projects. This dual role combines the responsibilities of an Asbestos Analyst and Asbestos Surveyor, providing a unique opportunity for professionals to apply their skills across a broad range of activities. You will conduct thorough asbestos surveys and analyses in various settings, primarily commercial, to ensure safety and compliance with environmental standards.
Conduct management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys.
Carry out analytical duties in compliance with HSG248, including air monitoring and 4-stage clearances.
Accurately record data and sample information using company software and tools.
Utilise and manage surveying and analytical software proficiently.
At least one year of qualified experience in asbestos surveying and/or analysis.
Full UK driver's licence
This role requires regular travel to various commercial sites across the UK, with a primary focus on the Southeast, including London, Essex, and Kent.
This full-time role operates Monday to Friday on standard commercial hours, under a 40-hour weekly permanent contract. Overtime opportunities are available for those interested in additional hours.
A fully expensed company vehicle or vehicle allowance with a fuel card.
25 days holiday, plus your birthday off after 5 years of service.
