Payroll Specialist Havant Permanent ARM are partnering with a global Security and Aerospace business in Havant. A position has become available for a Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis working 37.5 hours across a 4-day week. Successful candidates will need strong experience in manual payroll and calculations. Responsibilities:
- Processing day to day UK Payrolls
- Process both the advanced and arrears payrolls per the calendars each month
- Carry out reconciliations such as ensuring the FPS balances to payroll results
- Support operational activities for the responsible account
- Comply with filing and record retention requirements
- Working with the Senior Payroll Specialist to perform year end
- Manual calculations of gross to NET overpayments
- Maintenance and review of payroll procedures
- Experience with insourced end-to-end payroll.
- Ability to carry out manual payroll calculations to support validations.
- Oracle Peoplesoft experience
- An understanding of payrolling benefits
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines in a fast paced, complex environment
