Legal Counsel - Global Technology Company - Remote Role (Glasgow)
Are you a commercial solicitor working in a commercial/TMT practice keen to move in-house? Are you a legal counsel interested in working in a fast growing technology company? This is an exciting opportunity to join this UK wide in-house legal team where you will get exposure to large, complex and international commercial and technology contracts. Our client is a global, well established technology company with a strong growth plan. The company works with clients across a broad range of sectors and have an impressive portfolio of software products. Their in-house legal team are based in the UK and the team work remotely but have regular meet ups. As legal counsel you will be required to:

Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial and technology contracts to include supply, distribution, MSA's, NDA's, marketing contracts, advertising, sponsorship, SaaS agreements, software licence agreements, data processing and transfer contracts etc
Advise the business on all areas of risk and compliance that could be relevant to include competition, anti-bribary and corruption, data protection/GDPR etc.
Contribute to process improvement in how legal services are delivered to the business
1 + years PQE gained either in the commercial practice of a leading law firm or inhouse working as a legal counsel in a commercial role
~ Commercially aware and able to provide the business with commercial advice and be able to balance risk with the commercial aims of the business
