The OPRA Group has an exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join a Real Estate team in the Chelmsford Office.

Reporting to the Account Manager for Real Estate, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of property and liability claims for both the UK and Europe, from investigation to settlement, ensuring company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, including data protection and information security.

This is a Permanent - Full-Time role (Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home).

Investigating, negotiating and agreeing the settlement of claims in a professional manner

* Liaising with insured, insurers/brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims

* Liaising with stakeholders overseas

* Ensuring time reporting and billing are compliant with internal standards, processing and systems

* Account Handler - Essential Skills & Experience Required:

* Gained experience in the real estate/commercial property loss adjusting sectors, demonstrating a focus on quality, communication and organisational skills.
