Job Description

We’re recruiting for an Investment Analyst to work as an integral member of the Affordable Homes Investment/Corporate Finance Team, the Investment Analyst will work with colleagues across the LGAH business and the wider L&G Group.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering valuations, investment, bid appraisals and miscellaneous strategic initiatives (incl. capital raising, joint ventures, etc.)
  • Conducting Research, market and competitor analysis on the real estate sector, with a particular focus on housing
  • Performing portfolio analysis (using data analysis techniques) to enable internal strategy and decision-making
  • Preparing periodic/ad-hoc reports, presentations and board papers to internal and Group stakeholders, Regulator and Investors
  • Assisting senior members of the investment team with presentations and pitches
  • Maintaining financial systems to be used for the appraisal of the divisions' development schemes

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Real Estate/ Infrastructure sector.
  • Degree educated (strong academic background, with a numerical aptitude)
  • Excellent quantitative skills including strong data analysis and financial modelling (proficient knowledge of Excel)
  • Any experience with providing board reports and similar presentations would be advantageous
