Protocol Education are a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to providing exceptional support to schools and educational institutions nationwide. We are currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) that provides statutory provision for students following permanent exclusion and dual-registered provision for students at risk of exclusion. The school's mission is to identify and address the underlying causes of difficult behaviours, facilitate re-engagement, and equip students with strategies for regulation, pro-social behaviours, and resilience.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students within the PRU setting. Providing individualized support and intervention to students facing challenging behaviours and barriers to learning.
Supporting students in developing pro-social behaviours, emotional regulation skills, and resilience to overcome obstacles.

Empathy, patience, and resilience in supporting students through periods of transition and emotional turmoil.
Relevant qualifications or training in education, special educational needs (SEN), counselling, or related fields would be advantageous.
