Job Title: Senior Project Manager Reports to: Head of Projects
Location: Hybrid Reading

To perform the successful day-to-day project management of projects, responsible for project ownership and accountability. Projects will be of various sizes ranging from £30,000 to £2m+ budgets utilising Ultima’s project management framework for the delivery of cutting-edge IT solutions.

To deliver projects within the agreed scope, cost, and quality.
Manage risks and issues and put in place suitable mitigation strategies.
Responsibility for the whole project lifecycle – from defining the scope via Statement of Work through to transition to clients’ business as usual or internally as a Managed Service.
Provide effective leadership to the project delivery teams, including Project Co-ordinator, Consultants, Engineers, and 3rd party entities to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality.
Relevant project management certifications are expected – e.g. 5 years demonstrable experience of successfully delivering multiple concurrent technology projects.
~ Stakeholder management – customer facing role experience and internal relationship building.
~ Exposure to Agile methodologies

Windows 11, Microsoft 365).
Deployments of infrastructure and networking.
Adoption and Change Management.

Plan, control and execute multiple concurrent projects including risk management, change control processes, and documentation
Successfully manage relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure completion of project tasks within planned timescales and budgets.
Demonstrate an understanding of complex technical systems and processes, with the ability to work with technical staff to help scope, and document technical solutions.
To be proactive, enthusiastic and will to take responsibility and drive projects to their conclusion.
