Financial Accounting Manager Exeter, Devon £70,000 + package
Our client, a prominent organisation in the South West, is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Financial Accounting Manager to join their continuously expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Financial Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial control functions for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensure timely and high-quality internal and external reporting, manage technical accounting issues, support audits, assist with board papers, and drive the delivery of the Group Accounting Manual.
Oversee statutory accounts preparation for the Group and its subsidiaries.
Assist in preparing consolidated statutory accounts for half-year and full-year periods.
Support the senior management with board papers on financial reporting and technical accounting issues.
Review VAT and Corporation Tax working papers for compliance.
Ensure consistency in reporting, practices, and policies across the Group and its subsidiaries.
Serve as the main contact with external auditors for audit planning and issues.
Manage the balance sheet reconciliation process for the Group and its subsidiaries.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with extensive experience in preparing financial information at Group and company levels.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting, consolidation, and restructuring.
Proven analytical and financial modelling skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
