Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Ritchies are currently looking to recruit a Construction Materials Technician to join our laboratory team on the HS2 project around the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire area. The role requires a candidate with extensive experience in materials related testing ranging from Concrete, Soils, Aggregates and Asphalt.
Carrying out sampling and testing in line with Standards and customers specification
Carry out a point of work risk assessment
Checking that equipment to be used is in calibration and if broken or damaged this is reported to line manager immediately.
Provide clear and concise data to demonstrate compliance
Carry out testing using equipment checked for calibration to demonstrate compliance
Training other staff in sampling and test procedures
Maintain personal CPD record and CV to demonstrate career development
NVQ Level 2 Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities
