The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic individual to join us as our new Sales and Sourcing Managerworking for one of our new and exciting acquisitions, Wiltshire Heavy Building Materials.In this role, you'll spearhead our sourcing efforts, ensuring alignment with regional/national consumption needs while prioritsing quality, value, and volume. Your knack for managing diverse relationships, coupled with your keen eye for market insights, will drive operational and commercial performance. With a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our industry. Manage relationships with diverse suppliers and customers, providing up-to-date market feedback and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational and commercial performance.

Source CDM (construction demolition materials) to meet regional/national needs, emphasising quality, value, and volume while optimising logistics and cost.

Maintain accurate reporting and forecasts on CDM performance, drive innovation, ensure information continuity, and promote a collaborative environment while supporting safety and inclusivity initiatives.

Foster relationships with diverse suppliers and customers, ensuring compliance and providing market insights.

Proactively identify avenues to improve operational and commercial performance.

Who you are

You will have a strong grasp of safety and compliance protocols, complemented by deep insights into the regional CDM market, waste recovery processes, and logistics.

Exceptional relationship-building skills, empowering you to engage stakeholders at all levels with ease and build lasting relationships.

Proficiency in IT systems, especially spreadsheets and databases, ensuring seamless data management.
