Maintenance Engineer - EV Charging / CCTV (ANPR)

This role is predominantly a site-based role, covering central and Greater London region with occasional visits to depots to collect equipment. The responsibilities include maintenance of ANPR cameras and EV charging stations in and around the region. Experience in working on EV charging, ANPR, or CCTV cameras would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

As a field-based Engineer, a company vehicle will be provided, therefore a full driving license is essential.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance of ANPR cameras in line with manufacturer’s standards, design drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
  2. Attend, repair, and resolve faults to the highest standards and in the safest possible manner.
  3. Communicate daily via phone and email with internal stakeholders and customers.
  4. Manage workload to ensure contractual KPIs are achieved and all elements of the Service Level Agreement are met.
  5. Update and manage the Yunex fault management system via electronic means including phone, tablet, and laptop.
  6. Management and completion of periodic inspections on the install base in line with the agreed schedule.
  7. Full and accurate completion of electronic paperwork related to faults and inspections.
  8. Complete electrical tests, periodic inspections with electrical testing, and pre-commissioning activities.
  9. Work as part of a dynamic and adaptable team as well as a self-motivated individual.
The Maintenance Engineer:
  • You enjoy learning new activities, picking up new jobs confidently, and working on site.
  • You have an electrical qualification or experience in installation, maintenance, and/or testing of equipment.
  • You’re helpful, willing to use your own initiative, and enjoy troubleshooting.
  • You enjoy working outside, are comfortable working safely at height, and have good attention to detail.
  • You enjoy working towards the team’s goals and work well with other people.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours on a fair rota basis to ensure work can be completed.
  • You need a full driving license.

Preferred, but not essential: Experience of working on ANPR cameras or EV Charging or traffic signal equipment
