My client are a civil engineering company who specialise in residential projects. They have been running for over 28 years and have grown and expanded to become one the areas top civil engineering and groundworks company.
For this role you will lead on and provide advice, support, deliver health and safety advice to the organisation; and to be the responsible named officer for maintaining health and safety requirements.They are looking for someone who has experience in health and safety , preferably previously worked a similar role.
Need experience in the Civils/infrastructure/ groundworks or house building sector.
Health & Safety Advisor will be required to carry out a variety of duties including:
Advise and carry out on side audits on Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Training assurance
Investigate Health, Safety and Environmental Incidents
Assist in the delivery of corporate inductions to new employees and contractors
Provide advice and guidance to site management teams on Health & Safety Matters
Deliver in-house training as required inc Face Fit Testing and inductions
Attend Health & Safety Progress meetings inc client consortium meetings advising on co-ordination of the works and any HSEQT implications that require addressing
Reviewing of Construction Phase Plan, site specific risk assessments and method statements, traffic management plans throughout the project
