Our window and door installation team needs an organised, safety-focused member of the team to hep upgrade homes for our customers. We have a great opportunity for a Windows and Doors fitters mate to join Bromford, one of the UK’s established and leading housing associations, and a certified Great Place to Work organisation. In this physically demanding role, you will assist with the installation and repair of windows and doors. Working as part of a team your duties will include:
- Preparing openings and lifting heavy materials
- Installation assistance – fittings, adjustments, finishes
- Basic repairs – realigning, replacing glass, fixing jams
- Ensuring site tidiness and cleaning up debris
- Adhering to all health and safety standards
- Previous labouring experience
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- The ability to work at height off towers, scaffolds and platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- Responsible work ethic and punctuality
- Full, UK driving licence.
- 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
