If you thrive in a fast-changing environment, can navigate ambiguity, and have a passion for precision engineering, join us What You Will Do In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of engineering and investigative activities, including: Developing and managing detailed investigation plans for Electronic Engine Control units removed from service Producing comprehensive investigation reports linking in-service failures with MRO findings, identifying likely failure modes, root causes and corrective actions Creating and maintaining technical documentation across repair, test and diagnostic processes Providing hands-on engineering support to repair technicians, including component-level diagnostics Designing and improving diagnostic tools to resolve test failures Training technicians in diagnostic tool usage Managing technical and procedural changes within the business Delivering technical support to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers and internal teams Supporting the global Engine Control Services repair network Managing component obsolescence and supporting cost-reduction initiatives Contributing to continuous improvement of repair processes Ensuring full compliance with EH&S policies and all regulatory requirements What You Will Learn You will gain deeper expertise in: Aerospace Electronic Engine Control systems and their failure mechanisms Advanced diagnostics, test equipment and investigative engineering techniques Cross-functional collaboration across global aerospace repair networks Change management, process optimisation and continuous improvement methodologies Regulatory and EH&S requirements within the aerospace sector Qualifications We Prefer HNC/HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience) Experience with analogue and digital electronic design Background in aerospace or a similar high reliability industry Understanding of aircraft and engine systems Familiarity with automated and functional test equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven ability to diagnose technical issues and deliver practical solutions What We Offer 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + option to buy/sell up to 5 days each year.
