Want to lead a team that really cares and empowers customers to live their best life?Join us as our Client Services Manager and lead our Supported Housing Night Concierge Team to deliver person centred housing related support and make it a Great Place to Work for our colleagues Youll manage our services which house customers experiencing homelessness in our temporary accommodation in Gloucester, Stroud and Cheltenham. Our client group is the Young Peoples Services and the Adult Services. This is your chance to unleash the potential in our colleagues, delivering excellent outcomes for our customers

Typical day as a Client Service Manager

  • Leading our team of support workers and coordinators, youll help us deliver our person centred, efficient, quality housing support services to our customers aligned to our contracts.
  • Youll coach your team and manage individual and team performance.
  • Youll be a Safeguarding lead for the team and oversee the health and safety checks and risk assessments are completed and recorded.
  • Youll promote the service, ensuring that its visible and accessible to referring agencies and self-referring customers and promote our brand in the community.
  • Youll ensure the quality of the service evidenced by KPIs and customer satisfaction surveys, and empowering customers and colleagues alike

You have

  • Great people skills, ability to communicate and understand where people are in their life.
  • The confidence to challenge behaviours that are not aligned to our values, and the ability to advocate for your customers.
  • Ideally, youll have experience of leading a team, and have the knack for empowering and developing others.
  • Experience of delivering support in a housing or care environment
  • To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage

Youll join our Senior Client Service Manager Michelle White and our supported Housing team, were super passionate about what we do Were really proud of The Supported Housing Services, providing housing support to young people, and to our customers within the adult services in Gloucestershire. Were a supportive bunch

Job details

  • Flexible night working hours (or were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)
  • Although youll work nights and at times lone work, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings.
  • Able to use technology to add customer notes, and to support your staff.
  • Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
