The Company and Role:

We have a great opportunity with Convatec, a global medical products and technology company, who are seeking a highly motivated and fully qualified European Patent Attorney with a background in an Engineering discipline - mechanical/electrical.

Key Tasks:

  • Drafting and prosecution of patent applications.
  • Perform prior art investigations and patentability assessments.
  • Provide infringement and validity advice.
  • Provide support to opposition and litigation proceedings.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2/3 years post-qualification experience, preferably with a healthcare/life sciences background.
  • Demonstrate strong research and communication skills.
  • To be highly motivated, with the drive and ambition to progress your career.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour.
