We are seeking experienced Welding Engineers to join our clients busy team on a full-time permanent basis.

Our client is a worldwide supplier to the engineering sector, and are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to help develop the company further; receiving excellent company rewards, training and development opportunities.

Working as a Welding Engineer:

Monday to Friday
36 - 40 hours per week
£40,000 to £45,000As a crucial member of the quality department, you will contribute to the success of the company by ensuring adherence to quality standards, process development, continuous improvement, and supporting training and development initiatives.

Ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with company procedures, meeting specifications, and supplying relevant supporting paperwork.
Conducting inspections at different production stages, including supplier premises, to identify non-conformity's in line with company procedures.
Collaborating with the team and working independently to support inspection and auditing processes, contributing to general quality-related activities and projects within the quality department.
Assisting Production with innovation, process development, standard operating procedures, and technology application for continuous improvement.
Inspecting materials, welds, dimensions, and painting processes, with the possibility of training and development.To be success within this welding engineer role you will have knowledge of quality and welding management systems ISO9001 and ISO3834. Competence in welder monitoring, weld sequences/SOP, and distortion control.
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and international specifications.
Knowledge of welding processes, with MAG being essential, and TIG, SMAW methods being advantageous.
Experience with products like Harbour mobile cranes (Maritime cranes - Liebherr) and LR crawler cranes (Mobile and crawler cranes | Liebherr).
Membership in a professional institute (TWI, CQI, NACE, IIW, CMI, etc.).
Travel within the UK and Europe for a few weeks per year will be necessary.As well as a competitive salary, of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, you will receive:
