Page White Farrer is one of the leading firms of European patent attorneys, with particular expertise in the technology, electronics and software sectors. With offices in London, we work with some of the world’s biggest brand names to protect their intellectual property.

We currently have a vacancy for a trainee patent attorney with experience of artificial intelligence, to support our growing client base in this sector. You will have, or be expecting, a good honours degree or PhD in a computer science or engineering discipline which has included modules focussed on aspects of AI / machine learning. Some areas of particular interest are:

  • expert systems,
  • knowledge management,
  • machine-learning algorithms / models,
  • speech, language and character recognition,
  • chatbots and
  • virtual reality.

Trainees at Page White Farrer benefit from a structured training programme with a choice of completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, gaining exemption from the UK foundation exams, at either Bournemouth University, Brunel University London or Queen Mary University of London.
