CK Group are working in partnership with STORM Therapeutics, to recruit an RNA Biologist to join their Molecular and Cell Biology Team at the Babraham Research Campus. This is a permanent position based in Cambridge.
STORM Therapeutics is a clinical stage biotechnology company working at the forefront of an emerging field of biology, creating novel therapies that inhibit RNA modifying enzymes for use in oncology and other diseases with high unmet medical need. The ideal candidate will be an early-stage career scientist with a passion for novel innovative approaches to contribute to the company's understanding of RNA modifications in cancer and other diseases. 
Profiling gene expression biology through a variety of techniques e.g.Learn or develop computational analyses of NGS data.
Present results in project team meetings, review literature for novel “omics” approaches and contribute to implementation of novel methods into project work.
Maintain an electronic lab note-book and records of experiments, write protocols and assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures and risk assessments.
PhD in a relevant life science subject such as Biology or Biochemistry or BSc/MSc with additional 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Enthusiastic self-starter attitude with a passion for innovative science.
Extensive hands-on experience with standard molecular biology methods and working with RNA, DNA and proteins.
Expertise in RNA biology and working with different classes of RNA is essential.
