Structural Technician

Structural Technician - Required to join our client who are a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in their Henley or Gloucester office. The Structural Technician would be working on a variety of multi-storey RC Frame projects on Residential and Commercial Development projects. This is a new role that has arisen as a result of new business with clients within the house developer, and Hospitality sector Structural Technician Position Remuneration Salary DOE Paid Membership fees Company pension 3% Employee 5% Employer Career progression Flexible benefits package Enhanced Family policies 25 days' holiday + BH Bonus scheme (based on company and personal performance) Structural Technician Position Overview Assisting and empowering a dynamic team of engineers and technicians dedicated to the success of residential housing projects. Simultaneously managing multiple projects, ensuring each phase is executed punctually and upholds exceptional standards. Proficiently working both autonomously and in collaboration with junior staff, providing meticulous oversight, including thorough examination of drawings. Creating intricate substructure and superstructure drawings and sketches with mastery in AutoCAD. Delivering regular progress reports to Associates/Partners, fostering transparent communication. Swiftly addressing technical and construction inquiries to maintain project momentum. Actively participating in project and site meetings/inspections. Expertly reviewing and offering insights on third-party designs and drawings to enhance project excellence. Structural Technician Position Requirements While qualification to HNC level would be a plus, it's not a strict requirement. A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Revit experience will be highly beneficial A strong emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards while also thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.
