We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Appointed Person to join our team. As a Senior Appointed Person, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing crane operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all lifting activities, demonstrating expertise in crane operations, and rigging techniques.
Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to determine the most efficient and safe lifting solutions.
Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and crane operators to ensure smooth execution of lifting operations.
Provide guidance and support to the team, always ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate potential hazards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal functionality.
Proven experience as a Senior Appointed Person or similar role in the crane hire industry.
In-depth knowledge of crane operations, rigging techniques, and lifting regulations.
Proficiency in developing lifting plans and method statements including AUTO CAD
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Relevant certifications such as CPCS or NPORS accreditation.
Degree or diploma in engineering, construction, or a related field is preferred.
