We are an expanding RIBA Chartered Practice based in the heart of North Yorkshire, seeking a dynamic and creative Architect with 3+ years of experience to join our team. Working in a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential and Education we have a rich history with our commitment to excellence, creativity, and collaboration having earned us a reputation for delivering high-quality designs that enhance the built environment and meet the unique needs of our clients.

Lead and manage architectural projects from initial design through to delivery.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Develop creative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and adhere to building regulations and industry standards.
Implementation and administration of JCT Contract Suite.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and compliance.

Must have experience in direct client interaction from project inception and experience working with contractors.
Proficient in Revit, tech-savvy, with a good understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling).
Demonstrated experience in applying technical judgment to ensure projects comply with design standards.
Project Management: Proven track record of successful project management, team leadership, and running projects effectively.
Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with contracts, regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements.
Commercial Awareness: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and lead project teams.
Capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously, solving problems efficiently, and maintaining high-quality work standards.
A full driver’s license

A competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, dependent on experience.
