Wayman Education is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Year 1 teacher + Phase Leader to join our team at a superb school in Slough. As Year 1 teacher + Phase Leader, you will be responsible for leading the educational direction of the phase and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Year 1 or year 2 teacher with a passion for education and leadership to make a significant impact in the development and success of students.

Lead the Year 1 phase and collaborate with teaching staff to develop effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic growth
Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, fostering a positive and safe learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to create a strong sense of community within the phase and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities
Lead and participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational practices

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
Excellent knowledge of the primary education curriculum and current teaching methods
Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies
