Commodity Trading IT Director or Partner - UK/European Practice Lead
Global Fin Tech and Commodity Trading IT / Management Consultancy seeks a Director or Partner to join and lead their existing UK & European Commodity Trading IT Practice, based from London.
My client is a well-known global IT / management consultancy headquartered out of the US, who has grown to have offices across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North & South America. Primarily known for being a FinTech consultancy, they have been growing their Commodity Trading IT (including ETRM/CTRM and wider business advisory) services offering in the US over the last 3 years and more recently started to grow their European Commodity Trading practice, based out of their London office. To help them to really accelerate their growth, they are looking for an experienced Commodity Trading IT & Business Advisory Director or Partner to spearhead this growth.
The successful Director or Partner will need a proven track record working for a rival Commodity Trading Consultancy working at Senior Manager, Director or Partner grade - this is 100% essential.
This is a practice leadership and growth role so needs someone who has 'been there and done it' before and is looking to maybe step away from a built up consultancy and 'do it on their own'. As such you will be in charge of:
- The growth strategy (which markets to target, which geographies, E/CTRM or more business advisory etc)
- All hiring, although they have a large talent management team to manage this for you
- Play a leadership in new business generation and development, utilizing your network in the UK and Europe, but also working to close existing leads, upsell and cross pollinate existing clients etc
- Be a Commodity Trading subject matter expert/leader, so able to talk to COOs, CIOs, CTOs, CROs, Head of Trading Desks etc on their level
This role is based out of their Central London office, so there will be flexible working (working from home) but it does need the successful Director or Partner, to be working out of their London office and paying tax in the UK. My client will sponsor a visa for an international Commodity Trading Consulting Director / Partner, but you will need a network in the UK and Europe.
Salary is open and flexible depending on the seniority / level of the successful candidate but typically £150-300k basic + package.
