Finance Business Partner

Paying up to £44,539 (DOE)

Role is based in North Shields

I am currently working with an Academy Trust in the North East who are looking for a Finance Business Support to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will pay up to £44,539 for the right candidate. The role would be based in the office which is based in North Shields.

About the role:

  • Within the role you will providing professional financial and business advice and supporting the leaders across the groups and schools and budget centre's
  • You will contribute to the strategic decision making at school and trust level by attending senior leadership team meetings, trust business leader meetings and project group meetings
  • In this role as a Finance Business Partner you will prepare and monitor annual and long-term revenue and capital budgets for schools and other budget centres
  • You will be monitoring and reviewing transactional processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with the trust's financial handbook

About you:

  • You will have worked within a Finance Role for a minimum of three years
  • You will have experience of managing budgets, developing academy systems processes and procedures and experience of leadership within the public / private sector setting
  • You will have excellent financial management and financial planning skills
  • You will have evidence of relevant continuous professional development
