Our client, a market leading manufacturing business are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team. The purpose of the role is to play a critical role in bridging the gap between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) within the manufacturing facility.

Collaborate closely with maintenance, system integrators, plant operations teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and coordination of new and enhanced corporate directed software and hardware.

The Primary focus will be on managing, monitoring, and controlling industrial operations, with an emphasis on physical devices, sensors and processes.

An expert in Manufacturing Control Systems, including Electrical, PLC, SCADA, MES & ERP Integration.

* Responsible for maintaining all plant systems, troubleshooting and program modifications and become the go-to resource for troubleshooting, user support, and system enhancements.

* Modifies and updates existing electrical equipment, software and PLC programs.

* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance technicians to maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems.

* Conduct training sessions for plant personnel on OT technologies and best practices.

Previous knowledge and experience with typical equipment software and PLC programming.

* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

* Experience with all Microsoft office software.

* Strong understanding of all electrical safety training programs.
