They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive business growth, enhance brand presence, and maximises revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and marketing within the IT managed services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of business development plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.

Sales Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals and providing ongoing training and support.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Work closely with the product and service teams to align sales and marketing efforts with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas and approaches to achieve business objectives.

Performance Measurement:

  • Monitor and analyse sales and marketing metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market trends.

Experience:

  1. Strong experience in the Channel working with SME’s and selling IT Services.
  2. Experience of selling into new accounts and grow existing accounts.
  3. Understand forward looking KPI’s and sales process
  4. Ability to manage a sales team and experience in doing so.
  5. Experience working with Private equity owners is beneficial, but not essential.
  6. Living in a commutable distance
  7. Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills – presentation, written and verbal (likelihood of attending monthly board meetings)
