Mechanical Fitter

Afternoon Shift 1pm - 9pm

£30-35k Basic Salary + Paid Overtime x1.5 + Death in Service x3 + Company Pension + EV Salary Sacrifice Scheme

The role of Mechanical Fitter will be working for a company, having recently moved into a brand new, purpose-build laboratory, with a focus on specialised environmental and automotive testing. The Mechanical Fitter will be setting up the tests on the specialised equipment at the laboratory.

Drilling and tapping holes required for test rig set up.
Monitoring the test equipment during test processes and reporting any events to the Test Engineers
Fabrication in the workshop - equipment includes Vertical drill, bandsaw, sander, mag drill and grinding/cutting equipment.
Main fabrication activities are to fabricate supports for test equipment and to fix any set up issues with mis alignment of fixtures.

Our client are flexible with their requirements for Mechanical Fitter. Basic fabrication experience
Experience in a mechanical fitting related role
